Welcome to Anasa Yoga

My name is Takis. I am a 200-RYS Standards yoga teacher and a trainee to become a  certified Yoga Therapist at The Minded Institute in London. I offer yoga sessions aiming to bring body, mind and breath into balance to improve health and wellbeing of people of all ages and abilities. I teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yin & Yang and Chair Yoga. My mission is to provide advice and empower people to positively transform their lives through yoga. My students say that my ability to teach with openness, enthusiasm and humour makes my classes empowering and enjoyable.


Anasa (AnĂ¡sa) means breath in Greek and the reverse word, Asana, is commonly used to define the various yoga postures in modern yoga. I believe in the practice of yoga to support people to stand stronger and healthier in body and mind. Through yoga, we can explore the full potential of our intrinsic healing capacities. We learn to expand the breath as a vital force of energy, and improve the quality of it within and around us, creating physical and mental space. Yoga can help us to develop a deeper inner sense of strength and stability. It can support us in overcoming difficulties in life and in improving the quality of our physical and mental health.
